NICU Read-A-Thon

Last week, Saint Luke's participated in the Babies with Books Read-A-Thon. The Read-A-Thon is a friendly reading competition between NICUs across America. The event works to encourage reading to newborns which has a variety of health benefits, like brain and language development.

Jani Johnson, CEO of Saint Luke's Central Region, was one of many volunteers who took time out of their day to read books to our NICU babies. The families get to keep the books so they can start their own libraries at home.
